MindMatters is a comprehensive and practical course designed to equip adults with foundational knowledge, tools, and strategies to understand, manage, and promote mental health and wellness. Grounded in both psychological science and Botswana’s cultural realities, the course demystifies mental health, challenges stigma, and empowers learners to build supportive environments—at home, at work, and in the community.
Through five structured modules, learners will explore the nature of mental health, common conditions like anxiety and depression, first aid responses, and resilience-building strategies. The course blends real-life scenarios, assessments, and culturally relevant examples to create a locally meaningful and empowering experience.
